About EduFiMe

EduFiMe is an educational and empowerment fiduciary and financial education platform that aims to equip the ordinary layman with the information and knowledge required for them to make informed decisions that have a direct impact on one’s estate. The platform focuses on Estate Planning and its various aspects, as well as the Administration of Estates. Users of the platform will have access to information ranging from a basic level to a sophisticated level.

EduFiMe was born as a result of the ‘Getting Your Ducks in a Row’ presentation by KP Fiduciary Solutions (Pty) Ltd, which was directed at educating and informing retired persons in various retirement villages about the importance of getting one’s affairs in order. However, KP Fiduciary Solutions saw the need to extend this concept to the wider society as proper Estate Planning is a lifelong continuous process which should be started as early as possible.

With this notion in mind, EduFiMe was created to educate, empower, and assist society as a whole in getting their ‘ducks in a row’ and to make decisions that would allow them to plan for the unexpected whilst building and leaving behind a legacy.

EduFiMe has carefully crafted simplified and informative one-page documents on various fiduciary topics. Whilst simple, the content remains informative, educational, and undiluted. As we progress and based on user feedback, EduFiMe will look to update content and add topics. As a user, you can expect topics on the following:

  1. Estate Planning;
  2. Wills;
  3. Trusts;
  4. Tax Planning;
  5. Liquidity Planning;
  6. Philanthropy/Charities; and
  7. Estate Administration.

The sub-topics under the above main topics will be split into different levels (basic, intermediate, advanced, and sophisticated) allowing the user to start at a level they consider to be the most appropriate for them, but simultaneously providing them with the freedom to shift between levels as they wish.
